For the last few months I’ve been involved with a construction project which will end up as new workspace for my coworkers. I’ve worked on more than a few projects but in this case I’ve been very much involved in other areas outside of regular IT spaces which has been a very interesting and educational experience. The concept of how people use space has truly top of mind for me through the entire process and has changed the way I think about the design of space.

I’ve always been a fan of architecture but now, even more so.

It seems that people in technology have solved all of the modern issues surrounding bad software, henky hardware and security because apparently, some folks have time to go back and mess with ancient equipment that should be quietly leeching lead and mercury into the ground water.
